Tin Whistle / Bodhrán Workshop

Duration: 2.5 Hours
This workshop is an excellent introduction to the basics of the Irish Bodhran and Tin Whistle. At the end of the workshop, everyone should be able to play a basic tune on the whistle and beat a basic rhythm on the Bodhrán (while have a great fun in the process).
All Whistles & Bodhrans are supplied for the workshop. Participants will have the option to purchase their whistle to take away at a cost of €5 (This price applies to participants only).

Irish Dance Workshop
Venue: Killarney School of Music (workshops at an alternative venue (eg hotel) can be discussed)

Duration: 2.5 Hours
This workshop is a comprehensive introduction to the basics of Irish Set Dancing (group dance). Starting with the basic formations and working through to completing a full set, these classes are not only a fascinating introduction to Irish dance, they are also fantastic fun!
Suitable for all ages and abilities – if you can walk, you can set-dance! No special clothing is required, other than flat (non high-heel) shoes.
